Private Instruction
Olivarria Music is a husband and wife team of music instructors. Together we have over 30 years combined teaching experience. We specialize in Piano, Voice, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Banjo, Ukulele, and Voice lessons as well as Music Theory and Composition.
Lessons are tailored to each students’ goals while focusing on fundamental elements that will ensure continued growth and have a lasting musical impact. Weekly lessons are available for 30 minute or 60 minute sessions with limited availability.
In order to do our part in curbing the spread of COVID-19, we are currently offering lessons in person with safety precautions OR online. Virtual lessons are available via Zoom. We have optimized lessons with multiple camera views and enhanced audio for the best possible experience.

Lessons are scheduled on a monthly basis. Your lesson day/time will remain the same every week unless you notify us in advance. Our rate is $30/half hour lesson and $60/hour lesson.
Piano
Students will learn music theory and note reading, technique and other musical concepts. Repertoire is chosen based on students level and will progress with difficulty. From beginner to advanced levels of all ages.
Voice
Students will approach the voice as an instrument and will learn proper techniques to develop a clear natural tone. Specializing in classical, musical theatre, and contemporary music. Students are encouraged to explore performance opportunities as well to develop stage presence and confidence. It is recommended that students are able to read fluently.
Guitar/Bass/Ukulele/Banjo
Students are encouraged to learn the fundamentals of music theory and will learn the proper techniques for plucked string instruments. Note reading is strongly encouraged, but will also learn chord and rhythmic playing. Open to all ages.
Theory and Composition
Theory is the basis of all music and is taught in conjunction with learning an instrument. We offer in depth lessons to help students understand how music is written, and guide students through the process of composing their own songs. We recommend that this class is taken as a supplement to their instrument lessons.
