Our Philosophy
Together we have over 30 years teaching experience. We strongly believe that everyone can benefit from the study of music and it is our life mission to spread our love of music through teaching, providing performance opportunities, and creating an enriching environment for musicians to develop.
Caitlin Olivarria
Caitlin started lessons at an early age and continued the study of general music and vocal performance at Yavapai Community College and California Baptist University. She also holds an associate degree in business from Grossmont College. Caitlin serves on the Board of Directors of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) and is currently President of the Riverside-San Bernardino Counties Chapter (RSBCC). She is a founding teacher for the Royal Conservatory of Music’s (RCM) Certificate Program and holds certification for Voice and Piano. Caitlin is an advocate for music education and often organizes opportunities for students to perform as well as professional development opportunities for teachers. She has been recognized at the local, state, and national level for her students’ achievements in multiple programs and is often sought after as an adjudicator. Caitlin specializes in Musical Theatre and Classical Voice, but has also trained students that have appeared on national television series such as The Voice and American Idol. She is an accomplished pianist and enjoys arranging and writing music for piano.
Norberto Olivarria
Norberto is an active member of the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) and is also a founding teacher for the Royal Conservatory of Music’s (RCM) Certificate Program. He too studied music at an early age and specializes in plucked strings as well as piano. Norberto holds a bachelors degree in music composition from Cal State San Bernardino as well as an associates of arts and science from Riverside Community College. He is an active composer and is a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). Norberto is often sought after as a collaborator for musical works and recording engineer. His students have been recognized at the local, state, and national level for performance and composition in multiple programs. He is proficient in contemporary and classical genres and has been a member or multiple groups and ensembles.
